Real Futures Foundation is guided by a voluntary Board, headed by an Executive Committee, with the Chairmanship currently held by our former Local State Member for Parliament, Mr Craig Baumann. The Board meets four to five times each year.

  Mr Craig Baumann, Former Member for Port Stephens.
Craig served as the State Member for Port Stephens from 2007 until 2015, after first being elected as a Port Stephens Councillor in 1987.He is an Emeritus Mayor of Port Stephens and in 2001 he was awarded the Centenary of Federation Medal for services to Local Government. Craig has been involved with the Real Futures Foundation since 2007.       
    Mr Bob Westbury, Tourism Advocate, Community Liaison
Bob has worked with Port Stephens Council for many years, initially as a Councillor then Deputy Mayor and lastly as Mayor of Port Stephens. Bob is now dedicating his time in supporting the youth on the Tomaree Peninsula. He has been active in the Real Futures Foundation since its inception in 2004 and will continue to promote and drive decisions to progress Real Futures to the next level.

  Mr Jeff d’Albora, CEO,
DalCorp Pty Ltd
Jeff has been active in the marina business in the Port Stephens area since 1988 and has extensive experience at senior executive and non-executive director levels of organisations and associations; he is also Chairman of the DalCorp Foundation. Jeff now resides in Port Stephens and has been involved with the Real Futures Foundation since 2008.
    Mr Rob Farley Rob was principal of Tomaree High School (2001-2010) before accepting Director roles with the NSW Department of Education. He retired in 2016. Rob led the establishment and implementation of Beacon Foundation's No Dole Program at Tomaree High School, known locally as Real Futures and has been instrumental in the strategic development of Real Futures since its inception. Rob continues to be actively involved with the Foundation and the local community.

Mrs Michelle Zenere, Operations Manager, Mullane & Lindsay Solicitors Michelle has been involved in Real Futures Foundation since 2012. Her background and experience covers all aspects of operations, staffing, administrative and business development functions. She has wide ranging experience in operations management, project management, continuous quality improvement and business process improvement and has worked for both small companies and large multi-nationals. Michelle has a commitment to working with local schools and in addition to her role with Real Futures, she has also been a mentor at Tomaree High School plus an active member and representative of local P&C associations.     Mrs Sue Xenos, Principal, Tomaree High School.

Sue has worked in public education for almost 30 years and came to Tomaree High School as Principal in 2015.. Sue is committed to ensuring young people have access to educational pathways that are relevant to their needs. The community is a key stakeholder in working with educational facilities and local businesses to assist young people meet their educational and vocational goals. Real Futures is a crucial link in this approach and the building of strong viable partnerships is a key feature of this program.      
  Independent School Representative :        
  Dr TIm Petterson commenced as the Principal of St Philip's Christian College in 2013.  Prior to taking up this role he spent 11 years as a master at The King's School in Sydney.  He is passionate about seeing young people realising their potential and finding the pathway that is right for them.  Real Futures has a role to play in facilitating this for some students.
